BIO

Music as seance and spell;
a means to draw up from the depths
the delicate, subtle, and existential shadow relics

A project by Eric Krans and Jen O’Connor
Polymathic naturalist-poet-philosophers
multi-instrumentalist producer-composers

named after a room in the 19th century farmhouse
where they live, farm, and create

The Parlor’s upcoming album Sun By Day | Moon By Night (2026)
channels lost 90s college-radio energy through neo-psychedelic grungegaze alt rock:
Brian Jonestown chill, Nirvana dynamics, Mazzy Star haze.
The vinyl-sequenced concept double-album explores psychological shadow work
through sound collage and alternative dream-grunge textures.

The Parlor has performed at the Farm Aid festival
alongside music icons: Neil Young, Willie Nelson, and Dave Matthews.
Opened for Grammy Nominated artists The Lumineers,
and shared the stage with Willy Mason, Deer Tick, Lucius, Langhorne Slim,
Phantogram, Hop Along, Sharon VanEtten,
Y la Bamba, and The Felice Brothers.
